Nottingham’s Altia ranked in top 100 best medium-sized places to work in UK

Altia Intel has been listed in the top 100 medium-sized places to work in the UK with employees highlighting the company’s work culture, performance, and direction during an anonymous survey.

The Nottingham-based leading provider of investigation software was ranked at 81 as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ 2024 by Great Place To Work, the global authority on workplace culture.

An award ceremony, hosted by comedian Katherine Ryan at London’s JW Marriott Grosvenor on March 14, celebrated the achievements of companies who had been listed in the top 100, and acknowledged their efforts to build a positive, vibrant work environment.

Reacting to the recognition, Altia CEO Rob Sinclair commended the contribution of employees to the company’s work environment, describing it as an ‘innovative’ and ‘empowering’ place to work.

Great Place to Work uses employee surveys to help guide organisations in building a strong work environment.

Its certification process captures valuable employee feedback using its research-driven Trust Index™ survey, as well as acquiring details about the organisation’s programmes and practices.

Listed in the medium category, some 93 percent of Altia employees said the company was a great place to work, compared to 54 percent of employees at a typical UK-based company.

Employing 86 members of staff at the time of the survey, 100 percent of respondents agreed they were treated fairly, regardless of their age, race or sex, while 77 percent feel that Altia offers special and unique benefits.

Meanwhile, 94 percent agreed that the company provided them with the training and resources to further their professional career.

Employees highlighted numerous practices and incentives as reasons for why they love working at Altia, including its generous annual leave package, bonus schemes, healthcare, and flexible working policy. Additionally, they cited how employee mental health is a high priority for the business.
